Spring Entertaining with Tuesday Morning!

Tis the season for some back porch hangin'!
One of my very favorite spots in my home is our screened in porch, but after a long winter this space was looking a little drab and forgotten.  We teamed up with Tuesday Morning to give this area a much needed face lift and get it ready for some spring entertaining!

My favorite thing about shopping at Tuesday morning are the unique finds.  Every time I go in I find new items and they are all so one of a kind, like this gorgeous floral rug!  I knew I wanted to liven up this space and the rug was the first thing I picked out.  I love the bright, fun colors and it was so affordable I was able to get even more decor and stay in my budget!  I kept the other pieces like pillows and the outdoor pouf neutral to let the rug be the focal point of the space.

I have been looking for an outdoor rocking chair forever and haven't found one that was quite right until I hopped over to a second Tuesday Morning store and found the perfect one!  Each store has unique pieces so it is fun to shop around at different locations if you have multiples near you!  Here is a store locactor where you can search for stores in your area.

Once I had my space all set I couldn't wait to get my girlfriends over to hang out and I even tested a new strawberry limeade recipe out for the occasion!

Fresh Strawberry Limeade

4 cups strawberries (I used fresh but you could use frozen too)
1/2 cup lime juice
2 cups cold water
1/2 cup honey (more or less to taste)

Put all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth
*you can add ice to make it more of a smoothie consistency or serve over ice

I also snagged these gorgeous acrylic cups at Tuesday Morning as well as the cute paper straws and the wooden serving tray they are on!  They truly have everything you need for your get together.

I have a feeling this is the first of many girl's nights out here!  I am so happy with how all of my Tuesday Morning goodies turned out in here! And even more excited that I didn't have to break the bank to make it all happen.  Happy spring my friends!
