Our Easter

(pink floral maxi c/o Jane.com)

You know we love to celebrate holidays around here! Easter is one of my very favorites! I think maybe it's a little bit of spring fever mixed in that makes it so much fun.  As Olivia and Jack get older I want to make sure we focus on what Easter is really about instead of so much of the commercial side. We didn't even discuss the Easter bunny coming until the night before and I really tried to scale back their baskets this year (well, at least it all fit inside a basket this year...baby steps people).
I also really love coordinating all of our outfits, gotta give the kids something to complain about when looking back at pictures someday, right?

My favorite daily deal site Jane.com sent me this lovely high low dress and I knew it would be perfect for Easter.  I love maxi dresses for Easter since they seem more dressy, but the high low is so much more practical for chasing toddlers around the yard hunting eggs.  Also provides a nice breeze since it was almost 90 degrees on Easter, thanks Alabama spring. I coordinated the boys clothes out of what they had in their closets and Olivia picked her own dress out. She is obsessed with wearing long dresses and I can't think of anything cuter than a toddler in a maxi dress so it was a no brainer.  Be sure to check out Jane.com for new deals all of the time and they have more than just clothes.  I love their home d├ęcor too!

Since we never get pictures just the two of us, love this handsome man of mine so much

We went to church with my family followed by lunch at my mom's and a big cousin Easter egg hunt. This was Jack's first year to hunt eggs and he was surprisingly good at it.  He even scored $7 in prize money, here we come Target dollar section!

We played until the sun went down and went to bed with full bellies and even fuller hearts.  I am so thankful for my family and most of all my savior, Jesus Christ who gave his life so that I can be with him forever in heaven one day!  I hope everyone had a fantastic Easter!  And now it's almost summer time and we just can't wait!
